Philosophy
Council is the legislative branch of the West Windsor Township government. We are like Congress. Just as Congress enacts legislation that may be signed into law by the President, Council passes ordinances that may be signed into law by the Mayor.
I Owe You:
It is important that you know what I "stand for." You should be able to get a good idea of my principles, "who" I am, and how I will conduct myself from these pages.
You Owe Me:
It is also important that you be fair to me. I ask little of my West Windsor constituents. I do expect, however, that you:
- Get your facts straight,
- Not mislead me either intentionally or through omission,
- Not misrepresent what I have said here or elsewhere, and
- Not confuse my zealous protection of anyone's right to be heard -- the right to a fair process -- with my support or non-support of that person's proposal.
